Sat May 24 2025

Gigantamax Machamp is coming to Pokémon GO raids on May 26, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM local time as part of a special raid event. With a CP range of 1667-1746 (non-boosted), Machamp enters as a high-risk, high-reward challenge. Here's how to bring it down.

Machamp's Moveset

Machamp will use two randomly selected moves, one single-target and one that damages the whole team. Moves are tiered by risk:

Deadly: Close Combat (105) Stone Edge (100) Payback (95)

Dangerous: Dynamic Punch (85) Rock Slide (75)

Safe: Heavy Slam (75) Cross Chop (55) Submission (55)

Tip: If you encounter a Deadly combo, consider re-lobbying to avoid party wipes.

Best Counters

Final Thoughts

Gigantamax Machamp is one of the most challenging raid bosses yet due to its critical-based G-Max attack and group-wide damage potential. Focus on coordination, bring energy-generating tanks, and use Max skills wisely. Victory favors teams who understand synergy.
